How is Passwordless ssh done from Linux Machine A to Linux Machine B?
Let’s say the Linux Machine A has IP Address: 192.168.100.1 and Linux Machine B has IP Address 192.168.100.2. Login to Linux Machine A and generate public key using the following command:
ssh-keygen -t rsa
Upload the above public key on Linux Machine B using below commands:
ssh firstname.lastname@example.org mkdir -p .ssh
cat .ssh/id_rsa.pub | ssh email@example.com ‘cat >> .ssh/authorized_keys’
ssh firstname.lastname@example.org “chmod 700 .ssh; chmod 640 .ssh/authorized_keys”
